What is included with the Standard Electronic Medical Billing Services?

Electronic and paper submission of claims - We are trained to handle all forms of insurance claim submission - paper or electronic - and will pursue the most efficient means possible to achieve the quickest carrier payout for your practice. We can submit electronic claims to over 1,500 insurance companies for all 50 states.
24/7 accounting access - Through our secure web portal, you will have 24/7 access for the tracking and monitoring of your claims, balance aging reports, patient history, payments, on-line patient appointment scheduling software and more.
Posting of insurance payments - When you receive payment, simply forward us a copy of the Explanations of Benefits, patient receipt, or completed day sheet. We will review all EOBs for accurate reimbursement and then promptly post all payments to the appropriate accounts.
Follow-up and resolution on all aged accounts - Your billing specialist will challenge any and all rejections and prompt follow-up will be done to resolve any denials.
Comprehensive, real-time, online reporting, monitoring and tracking - We provide you with your choice of a multitude of management reports, some of which include the following: procedure codes and payment day sheets, practice analysis, referring provider reports, referral source reports, patient and insurance aging reports, and patient ledgers.
Electronic claim tracking with follow-up on all rejected and denied claims - You will know that the insurance companies have accepted your claims within 24 hours. You can also check the status of your claims in real time, 24/7, on the internet.
Filing primary and “secondary” insurance claims - We pursue all secondary claims, as well as follow up on all disputed claims until a resolution is found. We don’t stop until full payment is received.

You get all the services that are in the Standard package, plus…
Posting of patient payments - Most billing companies can post and track insurance payments. Few will track and bill the patients, while maintaining their balance and payment history. You can view a patient’s balance with the click of a mouse. Review payment history and run A/R aging reports for patients as well as insurance companies.
Handling of patient calls regarding statements - We will handle all patient phone calls, regarding their invoices, accounts or general insurance questions. Your patients can call our number and speak to a representative. 
Monthly processing of patients' statements for outstanding balance - Valley Medical Billing Service can send monthly statements to patients with remaining balances. Statements can be customized specifically for your practice.
Additional Services:
Recovery Billing - Many of our clients sign on with us with large existing Accounts Receivables. In most cases, large numbers of these claims are still collectible. We will be happy to review your current A/R to negotiate a recovery-billing rate. 
Provider Credentialing and Contracting - We have teamed up with RachelHill at Medical Solutions and Physician Credentialing who does all of our provider contracting and credentialing. 
We do not provide services that are assistance with precertification, PIP arbitration and creation pf personalized administrative documents.
